Team BeOS for SoB

Hi,

On DC Vault, Team BeOS is ranked 156 for Seventeen or Bust. That's not wrong because at this place we got "BeOS" team.
See http://www.seventeenorbust.com/stats...html?teamID=76 : Only one member, and no more crunch.

But, there is another team, ranked 20 called "TeamBeOS" :
http://www.seventeenorbust.com/stats...mhtml?teamID=6 : 92 members and still crunching.

I guess the stats of Team BeOS should be updated. What do you think about ?

PS: I'm not a TeamBeOS member and do not have anything with them. I don't know who is the leader of that team.

Sorry to dig up an old thread - BUT, Haiku strives to re-create BeOS as an open-source operating system. Basically, the spirit of BeOS still thrives, and it will resurface again once Haiku R1 is complete.

Many Team BeOS members have jumped ship and joined Team Haiku now.

No changes needed/desired. It is unfortunate that Team BeOS is fizzling away, however. In retrospect, it would have been neat if many of the Team BeOS team founders had simple changed the team names to Team Haiku since it's mostly the same community anyway that have switched over.

I suppose that's still possible if I can get the team founders to agree? Does DC Vault frown upon that sort of thing?

Whatever your Team does, is up to you.. The Vault is simply another way to record stats..... Just let me know what you do and I will change the teams info in the Vault

Thanks - good to know.

I have sent some email out to some of the Team BeOS founders to see if they have any interest in keeping their teams alive and renaming.

Even if they don't, I suspect I can help fill out more of the Team BeOS projects that aren't yet listed on DC Vault - surprisingly, Team BeOS is pretty widespread already.

Ok, at this point, we decided NOT to assimilate all the "Team BeOS" teams

However, I will be submitting to you an updated list of Team BeOS projects very soon so we can at least get Team BeOS reasonably represented at the Vault.
