Condolences For Those In Asia
Following the worlds worst earthquake recorded in the last 40 years the tsunami which followed has killed up to 23,000 people so far. The effect of the tidal waves has been devastating so my thoughts go out to the families and friends of all of those who have been affected.

If you local news has not been reporting this then you can find more here.

Ditto here too We've been watching CNN most of the day. It's so hard to get your head around.. that many lives lost in one fell swoop.

There is very little information regarding the survivors but according to a BBC report:-

There is also, apparnetly, a website for a hospital in Phuket which lists those being treated but I have yet to find the address.

If anyone wishes to make donations, to help in the relief effort, it can be done here on the Red Cross Red Crescent site. But be aware that the site is slow to load, hopefully because a lot of people are donating.

I have dug up a few more links after finding the Phuket hospital website.

For those who are looking for family and friends there is a forum set up here:-

The list of all injured is not just those at the Phuket hospital so it takes a while to load.
