Looking to buy a bike before the summer. I'm afraid I don't fancy the sporty 600's but If I had too I'd go for the RR .

Not enough cc's for my liking.

Go for a Fireblade.

I would go with the Yamaha R6. I had a Yamaha YZF 1000 and it was great.

Chops - that's a Van Veen OCR 1000. 3 ltr rotary engine, automatic gears (slow & drive) and it did 140mph in "slow"

So are those 600cc's? That's more than enough to get yourself killed in the time it takes to go from 0-60... No need for more cc's!

I don't see footpedals - I assume that they're not needed as the speed sucks you to the sides of the bike?

Made in Holland during the '70's - it was the fastest thing on the road at that time, beating even the Z1.

They made about 20/year (hand built by real craftsmen) and cost ~6,000 back then (if you could get one, as there was a long waiting list...)
