check out here on how to set up and run the client http://139.81.132.248/vbulletin/show...threadid=20883
you probably got the new G@H/F@H client as the classic most of us are using is no longer availalbe for down load - if you want to run the classic commandline client email me at data@sfnebula.com and i will send it to you other wise Meady/someone else will give you all the info on the new client as i have not started to run it yet regards Tom |

That is the classic client.
If you have a permanent internet connection, then just install it and run it from the start/programs/genome. You need to enter your chosen username (and it is very case-sensitive) and the TeamNinja_Genome number (1853278109). The client will download a w00t, and start work. After 30 iterations, it will upload the result to Stanford, and get another one. If you have an intermittent or dialup connection, then after you've completed one iteration, stop the client (using Control C) and restart it using the "run off network" option in Start/Programs. It will then carry on crunching the same gene (with a different seed each time) until you stop it and upload the results. If you need any more, just holler.

You can close it using Control C at any time, but you will lose any % that it is working on. It is always best to close it just after it completes 1 iteration (i.e. after 100%) - that way you don't lose any crunching time.
