Adding a team to a project

Ladies and Gentlemen and creepy crawlies,

When you submit your team to be added to a project on here, it's not enough that your team exists, it must also have POINTS. If it has no points, it can't be added. 0 points does not count as points in this issue.

Thank you for your support!

Your friendly DC kNIght,

Yankton

For a team to be validated at DC-Vault it must not only be registered at a given project; but the team must also show production! Please do not request validation at a project before you have productive members at that project

I am brand new to DC-Vault and like this concept! However, I notice a couple things that bug me... probably the answer to all will be answered by one question...

You show MUON1 has no team assignment for Overclock.net of which I am a member and editor on the OCN BOINC Team. However, we do run Yoyo@Home which does in fact run MUON1, yet you don't display that.

I think you should be aware of this already since running more or less Private projects via a Proxy project is SOP for the BOINC universe and I also think it would be super simple to include those proxy projects. Citizens Grid is now a Proxy for several projects as well as Yoyo and Moo! Wrapper and such...

Could you please correct these errors?

Thanks!

Well, seems this subject has been discussed many times... I found it here (and other places) back in 2008 http://stephenbrooks.org/forum/?thread=1338 already talked about.

Seems to me I jumped a little too soon as I didn't know some details.

In any case, I think we can leave things as they stand unless Muon1 decides to become a real BOINC project of itself. As it is, no difference to Moo! Wrapper or DNet and such. Way back when, I used to run Distributed.net all by itself before BOINC came out... and WCG too... Seems some people still run those projects without BOINC affiliation... and that is fine!

Thanks for the PM and such... couldn't figure out how to reply to it though...

Have a nice day!

Hi,

Not sure if I'm in the right thread but...

There's no team appearing for overclock.net in WCG.

Can you please add it when you get a chance? https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/t...mId=CNBTJ814X1

Thanks
