DPAD Muon Issues

Looks like DPAD-MUON has not been updating for at least the past 9 days... Main website is also down. Anyone have any insight into this?

The admin posted in the project forum that his webhost recently migrated/upgraded and it may now be blocking access to the stats files.

Quote:
Have e-mailed my webhost about the blocking problem, pointing out it might be misdetecting scripted access as DoS attacks.

I was about to add an agreement to this ... but having just checked the main website and our team's page (which had been garbled to non-existent before) ... and lo everything seems to be back to normal on the website. Now I have not run DPAD in the last few days so I don't know about recent work, but it looks like at least part of the glitch has sorted itself.

Perhaps you've been running the muon1 client on that IP address after the project's webhost "migration". Since your muon1 client accesses files on the project server, the server may be incorrectly banning your IP address right now.

My only guess is try opening the project's main site using an IP address not used by the muon1 client?

Strange, I just pulled up the main site without any problems.

very strange ... still able to access (on mult boxen, but all same network).

However, here is the strange part. The IP address for the DPAD site is resolved to 77.240.9.17. Using the IP directly instead of www.stephenbrooks.org I get a default webpage owned by cPanel Inc., a webhosting company ... so there's an obvious DNS problem somewhere.

I am wondering if I flush my dnscache on my machine whether I will lose access to the site?

Hmmm ....

For me the site's been up and down for a couple weeks. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
