I thought that was one of the coolest things I've seen in a long time. Definitely going to get one and install it by where we charge our phones.

By the way, here's the link direct to the manufacturer (and $2 cheaper). Works with US and Canadian power wiring, other places, not so sure. But it's a great idea and if someone hasn't come up with this product for other locales, they surely will soon.

If it is not UL approved, voids any homeowners fire insurance claim and is illegal to sell/install in the USA.

Good catch Zepp. It was never mentioned on the thinkgeek site and just went looking for the manufacturer to see if they had it available (was out-of-stock at thinkgeek). Didn't read everything on the second site. Really good catch. (still a neat idea so I hope they get their UL approval soon)
