I heard it on the radio this afternoon while I was out fishing. Sad news indeed
Not only was he a great DJ and presenter (Glastonbury Festival anyone?)... many weren't (aren't?) aware that he also 'discovered' many famous bands in his time.... one of the more recent being none other than Oasis  Yep... a very sad loss

Very sad indeed
His late night show on Radio in the 80's got me though many a project\revision\cramming session RIP John
