Bab 5: Season 3
Is now released in the US on DVD. I found mine at a Sam's club, and they also had Season's 1 and 2 (which surprised the heck out of me!). The price was quite reasonable, 35% off list

I would be tempted,
but not at the prices they are at over here. Comparing a B5 series (£75) to a series of MASH (£25), I know which I'm buying. Now if only MASH series 2 would hurry up and come out over here - September ain't coming fast enough damnit!  Flalguy

Last I saw was Season 1 in Woolies for an extortionate amount,
I think it was £75, but it could have been £65. I simply thought it was way too high, after all I have seen them before on the TV, in fact I may even have them on video somewhere, assuming the videos still work and I haven't lost them. If I were going to spend that kind of money on something, I would rather buy something I haven't seen, perhaps Futurama, or MASH, or most of the Stargate series. I mean £75 thats a hand picked Athlon XP2500+ for goodness sake! Fallguy

I agree - I think that the Buffy series is much more reasonably priced (found them for 39.99 USD @ Costco) and have picked those up, but haven't picked up B5 or anything beyond season 1 of DS9 even though I really loved that show... :/
I thought DVD's cost less to make/manufacture?  -spec

I've got all five series of B5 on video....worked my way through watching the whole 5 series

not been buying DVD's yet but some mates of mine regularly trawl http://www.play.com for their DVD's might be worth checking out seems to be a number of good deals on there and you never know might just be doing B5, startgate etc for a reasonable amount.
edit just tried the hyperlink to see if it worked and i had the right site, opening page had the new star trek nemesis dvd for £6 off.
