Been DF'ing for a bit - new G@H client?
Is there a link to info on the new G@H client? Does it look like this client is as worthwhile as the G@H classic one? If we're a go, I'll throw some firepower at it.

Spec ... I haven't been much around the Genome forum till recently but I don't recall having heard much positive about the newer G@H / F@H clients ... I can send you the classic client if you need it. Units will still be accepted till 16:00GMT on May 5. Today (May 1) is the last day for receiving new units (I'm running nonet obviously). I could probably send you the important stuff for that too ... if somebody can tell me what is the important stuff ... lol

I installed the v2 client yesterday and its not given me any grief yet...instead I got a 60% jump in "performance"...read stats points

I've encountered a few issues with the new client. 2 out of 5 machines refuse to run. Keeps getting a 'Error starting Core" and downloads another one only to get in the loop. I've deleted and reinstalled to no avail. Funny, these are probably the least overclocked machines here, and different motherboard and memory brands.

I deleted the "work" directory and restarted the client. It downloaded a fresh woot (66AA) and is now crunching happily. All I can suggest is to try this. A thread has been made on Stanford's forum (not by me) - hopefully this bad woot will be removed from the server shortly.
