Ok... it increases the buffer size...err...?..

Does it mean it'll upload after every 10000 structs?..15000?...

Without the -df switch the client will shut down after processing six sets of data, regardless of how many structures there are. For more information see the readme1st.txt file in the distribfold directory :)

Thanks Nano.

Alright, so it doesnt really just _increase_ the buffer size but it will take any limit away (except the limit your hd gives you ;) )

By 6 sets of Data, you mean 6x5000 structs, right?

Been wondering....

the proteins in the test phases before..they were smaller..am I right about that?...

That should also mean that anyone that took part in those phases should have had their scores rocketing through the roof compared to now?...(since the structures must have been easier and faster to calculate)

Heh,
yes Ragnarog, with only 2 of my 3 comps running, in the first 2 weeks I did serious crunching I racked up around 7.5 million. Now I am using 50% more CPU power and struggling to make 1.5 million in the same period of time.....!

Whats more interesting is the fact that the protiens are gonna get harder in future, so things will slow down even more. My advice is start crunching with everything you've got to take advantage of this and build up a nice lead (as I did :) ).

Problem is, I'm lagging behind quite a lot...

I will be adding a few more machines...tomorrow :)
