Well that was quick! :p
The Ni stuff.. we were just joking around, really :D In response to prokaryote's post you mentioned they 'have a lot of power due to come on shortly', then with this post you were leaving DF for a short time, then with what was posted at Free-DC we just assumed you were going to give them a hand with their Phase IIIa. LOL.
Glad you're back anyway :)

the lot of power in ? here was Dyyryath's as he has loads more puters that are not yet online in the DF project - my leaving for a short while was explained in what i was going to be doing as i have always advised the team in the past if iam am not going to be there for them - also KWSN do not need a hand judging by their production
ref our chat the date and time was 10/05/2002 at 04.24am

Hi  so that you want be  about the S-MDC_TRUST once it reaches 220 Million constructions (probably sunday night) it will stop work on the DF project and a home will be found to park the work completed

Aaah, I gotcha Data. Sorry for the confusion - there seems to be a whole lot of that going on lately :o
I'm VERY sorry to hear you're suspending the S-MDC_TRUST. I know we spoke earlier, but again, if there's anything I can do to help with this, or future ventures don't hesitate to call.

So the work won't stay with Team 3DHQ?
and the S-MDC_TRUST??? Where will it go?

Could it be that the :kwsn: team is sending out false info to confuse? Ripped from their board today. ;)
Day 1 of PHASE IIIa:
So far the campaign has been an overwhelming success! There have been loose references about our endeavor on some other boards, but no one has noticed the changes yet. Data is on board and Moogie at FreeDC might suspect something. Keep up the stealth mode and continue to roll out the changes.
KillerRabbit, pay attention to the PM that ^7_of_9 sent regarding the plans. If you have any more questions please PM me directly.

the above is news to me - i do not visit KWSN BB/Forums have i think only ever been there 2 or 3 times and this was more than enough - have no time for their stupid nonsensical chatter its as bad as the PWing that used to be here

Well it looks like the KWSN propaganda machine has been quite effective - 3DHQ Decimated.
Still, they are your machines, your points and it's your decision, I wish you well.

I never ever hide my constant state of confusion .....so this won't be any surprise to hear I'm one confused .
Data, yesterday you said you weren't going anywhere...now this? IN a matter of hours this all has changed?
If this is all a result of what ever games someone else is playing, then it's too bad they've been allowed to win.....I've no clue what the actual prize is in this case.
AM I MISUNDERSTANDING SOMETHING?...I'm often told I miss key points...(must be a blonde thing? )
Ultimately it's your decision to do what ever you feel is best for you and the S-MD_TRUST.....No one else has to be happy about it but you. Good luck in your journey, where ever it may lead you.

If Data doesn't visit our board then how can we be responsible?
I thought the reference from our "Time for Phase IIIa" thread merely meant that Data knew what we were up to and how we are going to do it. Or is that why he is leaving?
Whose propaganda machine is being used against whom here?

Well, only one person can answer that, and he's not here anymore. Nor was our team worthy enough of parking the completed work of the S-MDC_TRUST, apparently.
Don't know what the hell happened here but somebody has done some damage - and I'm seeing a side of DC that I've only ever heard about.
Whatever.

As to whether things ever did go south on the old board is a matter of personal opinion, the majority of the team were having a lot of fun, is that such a bad thing?
There is no rule anywhere saying that DC teams have to take everything seriously, we don't pretend to understand the science behind it, we are just remote crunchers. Just because a few people don't like the way the forum is used doesn't make it a bad team. I've always been of the opinion that if you don't feel right in a team then by all means leave but to continue sniping afterwards is grossly unfair to those you leave behind as it saps away the team morale.

Personel opinion is true. But I have always been of the opinion that to gloss over a problem and trying to avoid admitting that there is a problem tends to come back and bit you in the end. I realize a team as a group of individuals cannot cater to everyone. But to continually deny that there was/is a problem and express amazement and confusion when members leave does the team no good. As you say this is going to go nowhere and does not help with the teams spirit so am glad to leave it at that.

OK so peoples nerves are a bit on edge at the moment so lets review this whole thread.
Proky old mate I agree with what you've done. If it's fun then it's got to be worth doing. Playing mind games with the Kaniggit's/Free DC is going to be very interesting. If you come back you'll need to take the insanity test all over again, don't want anyone going normal round here.
Tom I'm sorry you became disenchanted with the way the team went, but it was pretty silly to begin with. I think it just reverted back to a fun thing once the big boys uppped the gears. In all walks of life there is a natural order to things. 3DHQ are just learning to crawl.
Jules you'll always be confused, it's a great way to live because nothing ever becomes monotonous. It's a new game everyday.
Time this team started pimping for new members.
BTW Don't 3DHQ Distfold owe the KWSN a favour? That could be fun?:xohyes: :cunning:
PS Don't I owe you guys a favour?
If any or all the above is wrong remember I get confused outside the humor forum.;)

What you and one or two others perceive as a problem isn't necessarily what the whole team sees. What is the problem, exactly? We're not serious enough? We're all belting out proteins for the same project, and they're all going toward the same goal. We just choose to have a little fun in the process. If that's a problem for you, I don't begrudge you leaving, but why should everyone else recognize it as a problem? I don't get that.

Ok, I think that is enough bickering for one day, don't you?
TGC- I have said it before, and I will say it again. I am very sorry that you were unhappy with the way the team chooses to post/chat/talk however you want to put it. Of course I never like to see members leave the team, but when they do, I don't hold ill feelings, and I am sure none of the others do either. When you put a group of people together from all different parts of the world, they are not always going to see eye to eye,or behave the same, that is unavoidable. You chose to leave, and for you that was the right thing to do,and maybe it was the right thing for others as well. I am the first one to admit that we are an unconventional DC team, very different from the norm. But to some/most, THAT fact is our main appeal.
What I think is inappropriate is the fact that you feel the need to constantly tell everyone in here how wrong they are for behaving in a way that YOU disagree with. If you don't like it, don't read it. Period. No one said you had to re-join 3dhq, and no one said you even had to read the posts. As the old saying goes, "If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say it at all."
