I hate official recommended specs..

What do you think is a safe min spec for using the screensaver OR client and continue normal operation?

I ask as my potential homes for the screensaver client are all with intel onboard graphics and I fear an unacceptable pause and/or refresh problems when the saver jumps in and again when freeing the computer resources. I can and do hide the full client on some machines but again, I've no idea how noticeable the impact is for average user.

below min spec iscourtesy of Distributed folding

System Requirements

100 MHz processor or faster
25 MB free hard drive space
128 MB RAM
An internet connection (broadband or high-speed modem)
A supported operating system

hope this helps - also would suggest that you run the TEXT Client and not the screensaver client as its slower

i have tried a lesser spec and it dont work very well at all - this client besides wanting your cpu cycles is also memory intensive - tried running on 64 Mb and things do not work well - 128 Mb in fact it will allow you still to run the client and carry on normal working
