Hullo,

went to see the concert of the year last nite at the L2 in liverpool :)

The wildhearts (yes, i'm on about them again) played and demolised the venue

they played the tightest i have seen them play in a long time, and played all their best stuff from the first 2 albums (earth V's the wildhearts and P.H.U.Q) as well as a couple of songs fom the mini alum they are in the middle of recording.

Put it this way, if the stuff they are recording sounds half as good as it did on sturday nite, britich rock is about to get the biggest kick up its arse ever :)

Anyway, the concert rocked, even if they PA sounded like it was giving birth to adult elephants, the whole band looked happy, and much bantering with the crowd

i'm off to see if i can get tickets too see them in manchester on wednesday

toodles and may you be well and truley rocked :)

oh my god

manchester debating hall

the wildhearts

last date of the tour

i'm still smiling

the support was ok, nothing special though

the wildhearts, guitars arnt musical instruments with them, there weapons

they were tight, had fun on stage (something i havent seen before), and generally rocked the joint. a tribute to laine stailey (spelling) and alot of chaning for danny (the bassist) as he is just comming of heroin, as he said, he dosent need drugs, he does gigs instead

the drumer stidi is like a power house, i havent seen drumming like it before, the mans a power house. serious respect

and the most amazing thing for the wildhearts, they haent had a single argument during the whole tour.

i really hope they get it right this time, they look like they have, and the mini album (possibly called "riff, after riff after mother f***ing riff" rock and roll or what!!) should be the proof

me off to smile like a nutter all nite at the memory
