need rheostat plans

hello people I need some plans on building a rheostat. for a 80mm deltal fan
12v dc
.90amp
11W

the plans would have to tell me what type of resistors and switches to use and maybe where to get the parts from like radioshack online whatever
if you know of a good site that has plans or you can draw something up yourself please drop a line here I really need help with this thank you all who reply

Depending on how many you need it might be better to buy a pre made or kit rheobus. If you just need one to control one fan I have a zalman fanmate that works great. If you still want to go the d.i.y. way check Cliff's (http://www.fanbus.com) . Kick around in there and you'll find what you need.
