Does anyone know the differences between the different versions. ie: 1.0 vs 1.3 for example? And, is there anyway to convert the earlier versions?

Thanks.

you probably already know this, but the 1.3's can run an athlon xp properly, and the rest cant :(

apart from that, i really dont know :(

Yes I was aware of this. However, I thought there might be further differences. I just popped an Athlon 1.4 in my board, and have run it as far as 1606, albeit not completely stable. At 1595, it ran all day with no probs at all. I'm running the 7N Bios. i'm also running the sys clock currently at 148, to burn in the cpu. Only been in 36 hours. Multiplier at 9.5 I need to put up a new sig.

The only problem I've encountered is with the Platinum 5.1 card. Even with the latest drivers it does NOT like FSB over 150. I may need to change to a more stable sound system. Any ideas?

Thanks

Kt7a boards under v1.3 dont like high fsb as well, and it doesnt support CPUs over 1500mhz very well (up to 1600 if your lucky).

The v1.3 and up support XP, faster FSB and CPU speeds.

I'd just like to point out that i'm running a XP1600+ at 1840mhz on my KT7A board (Rev. 1.0) :D That is mostly a multiplier overclock, FSB is only about 147mhz I think :) (I get vid-card problems if I go too high on FSB)
