When my system goes in to stand by mode I loose my raid completly, I would have to flash the biow again to install a new version of HighPoint Drivers. Why do this happen? Running WindowsXP.
Thanks,
Joe

I think there was a note in the box with my KG7 Raid saying that it did not support standby mode. I know I saw it somewhere about the problem.

It may have said the mobo does not support STR [suspend to ram]. If that is not set up in the bios then it shouldnt be a problem. I never use standby anyways. I just leave mine running all the time.

Is that in my mobo BIOS? Under where can I find it?

Dont you have the Owners manual for the mobo? I will have to find mine. I put it away somewhere.

Umm you should really have a manual, you can prolly D/L it from Abit. There are some other features that you should check to make sure thay are set to default, such as Standby mode [Disabled] and HDD Power down [Disabled as well]
