Hi NY,
As the resident "EXPERT" of XP............YA RIGHT!!
I know of no way to find out that info.
That doesn't mean it is not available, just I don't know where to look.
I asked here and did not get an answer too, so.....
Take care.........

To get WinXp to show your System Uptime:
Goto Administrative Tools - Performance
Right-click in the window with the graphs and choose "Add Counters", then in the window you get under "Performance object" choose "System" then scroll down in the list and Choose "System Up Time" and hit the "Add" button, then close the window.
After you have done that with focus on the graph window press "Ctrl+r", then you can see your system uptime in seconds, I'll let you do the math :)
Hope this makes sence if not I will make some screenshots to illustrate :)

There is a util in the resource kits of NT and 2k called, strangely enough, uptime which will display the uptime in command window. Some of these used to be downloadable from microsoft, don't know if they still are.
Nice one Jozzer, 5 days is my record with XP, but normally I'm lucky to get more than a day.
With 2k it was something like 45 days, I have a box at work with 2k on it which is at 65 days and counting.

The poor man's solution: go to Task Manager and look up the number of hours for "System Idle Process". Divide by 24, and also by the number of processors if you have a multicore machine.
It only counts idle time, but since most computers are idle most of the time this is usually a good approximation, and easy to get.

Hi Bunbury,
You now have the record for resurrecting the oldest thread: 19th April 2002, 10:04 AM.
I haven't heard from Rob, (Northern Yankee) Ener-B and the rest for quite a while.
Jozzer and I are the only ones left from that crew.
Thanx for bringing them to light again.
Take care..........

Excellent! By that method my system has been up for just over one hour since I last rebooted it on 11th July...
