What are your Temps? What HSF are you using? Case Fans...and any other info pertaing to temps.

i'm using thermatake 7 with adjustable fan control
with lian-li pc65 case with 2 intake 1 exhaust fans
and enermax 365 whisper p/s with dual fans.
so i know i get enough circulation,
the dif between mb temp and cpu is 20C
if motherboard is 35 the cpu is 55C
and thats under NO LOAD...

a.) hopefully the fan control on your cpu is up all the way
b.) its not very safe to manually control cpu fan as amds have no thermal logic that functions 100% in the case of hs failure (better safe than sorry)
c.) those temps arent extremely out of line.
what are your load temps, is the system locking up
perhaps you have cables, or such blocking air flow
it is usually better to have exaust fans... so i would switch on of your intake fans to exaust
are you sure that the h/s is set properly, with eneough tension on the bracket?
did you use the thermal pad vs. thermal comound like AS3 ?
is the cpu fan mounted properly.. IE blowing downwards onto the cpu?

From what I understand the Asus temps are about 10 degrees off. I could be wrong from I have been reading about this issue at alot of sites... I am sure asus will come out with a bios that will maybe fix this problem:cool:

AMD Man is correct, ASUS mobos typically report much higher temps than other socket A mobos. Check out the AMDMB ASUS forum here (http://www.amdmb.com/vb/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=8) for more info.
Even so, the temps still seem a little high. Sytem temps seem fine, so it looks like case airflow is good. Reseat the HSF with a very thin layer of thermal grease and try again. But befroe you go too crazy, check and see what other A7V333 users are getting for temps.

I'm using the stock AMD fan that came with ny 1800XP on an Asus A7V333 running RAID 0. Case is a Lian-Li 60 with 2 front intake and one rear exhaust fan.
I removed the chewing gum from the HSF and used ASII.
Non-OC'd I'm getting
CPU temperature=55
MB temperature=25
(as I write this online, nothing hungry running in the background)
My old ATX case was full of fans (V.Noisy) but the best addition was the 80mm exhaust I added to the top of the case. I found that this sucked a lot of heat right out. The PSU, DVD, CDRW are at the top in most tower cases and they generate the most heat. I'd suggest you try this as your MoBo temp seems a little on the high side and it's a cheap and easy option.
Hope this helps the discussion.
