Easy CD creator problems again. It works fine when I log in but when my missus logs in under her name it comes up with an error 'access is denied'. How do I stop the program running or starting only when she logs in under her name?

First check its not in the global startup folder on the start menu, if it is just make sure its only in yours.

If not then try when logged in as her, type msconfig in the RUN dialog box and uncheck the program in the startup tab. I dont know whether this will stop it runnung when you login, is it needed for you to always have it start on your login?

Also you could try while logged in as her under regedit in current user -> software -> microsoft -> windows -> current version -> run. then deleting the offending key. Although I believe msconfig just disables registry keys anyway.

Alternatively you could grant her access the the folder with Easy CD creator in it, that would stop her from getting the error in the first place.

Sorry thats all I can think of, I am sure one of the other guys will come up with something that will make my suggestions look totally dum ;)

Tried using msconfig but it wont let me uncheck it.

Tried looking in the registry but there isn't an entry there.

Tried giving permission to access the folder but I cant see how.

Am I dumb or what?
