I must admit, I find it MOST amusing, that an ENTIRE marketing team of one of the world's largest motoring manufacturers and their ego-obsessed ad agency could have missed a potentially seriously embarrasing lyric in the song for it's latest campaign... :D

The ad in question is the current one for the Ford Fiesta (tag line - 'get out more'). The song? Smash Mouth's 'Walking on the Sun', for which the opening line (of both the song and the ad in question) is...

" It ain't no joke, I'd like to buy the world a toke"...

Now, I would imagine that even the least brainy of the bunch would be able to pick up on the fact that a 'toke' is an oft-used term for a spliff; joint; reefa; whatever you want to call it! Apparently not. And what with the Government's latest (admirable, but misguided) attempts to crack down on my supposed eagerness to bury my vehicle into anything large and immovable, I couldn't imagine a cock-up like this contributing much of any benefit to the campaign...

Who are the dopes now??? Har har!

(I guess I should cover myself by adding that my previous musings were intended for humourous (if somewhat feeble..!) illustration only - I certainly wouldn't advocate driving or riding whilst stoned... You'd never get anywhere).
