nice bike :)
i'm after something bigger but the cost of insurance is slaying me... next year that little 400 will be just £280 to insure but if i step up to a 600 or a 750 so i can get some legroom the insurance goes over £700:eek:   :( it's just too expensive for us young bikers

thanks dicki, wow thats only a 400?? Thats the best looking 400 I have ever seen... I would have guessed 600-750cc. I bet it still has lots of grunt right? I can't even handle the 600 in turns. hmmm, someday

Dicki that's the badest 400 I've ever seen. I've allways liked the smallish bikes I think 600-750 is all you need and I think they can be faster too. On a 1000+ bike sometimes it's, oh sh** just hold on but on a smaller one it's easier to ride it at 85-100%. My friend had a Ducati M900 monster that was a beast. It was pretty scary to ride mainly because of the cost. Unfortunely I won't ever own a bike while I live in Jersey. I'm scared to drive my car around here. I have my dirtbikes/ATCs on my property in upstate NY so I go have my fun up there.

it is a gorgeous 400 isn't it and that blue is soooooooooo much nicer than the ninja green they normally come in :) whenever i tell people it's a 400 they are allways shocked because with the carbon can on it sounds far bigger.
it's fairly nippy infact i'm very happy with the speed and it rips around corners, my problem is i'm 6' tall and i get very cramped on it, plus i do a relativly large number of miles (300 a week over summer probably 150 a week all winter) so it's killing my knees.
ATC's? are they the little 4 wheel jobs? those are such a blast! they are so much fun off road :) if i'm ever in NY (unlikly i know) you'll have to show me them ;)
here's a front pic of the bike too :)
