Who thinks Lindows, mention here:

is little more than a scam? Whilst the aim of providing an alternative to windows that can run windows software is laudable, this strike me as far more hype than substance :(

For a start it is said to use Wine to run windows software. Wine is good fun in fact I'm a very small contributer to programming Wine myself. But it is no where neat comprehensive :(

Hi Jema,

Rumor has it that Microsoft is thinking of taking Michael Robertson and company to court on this issue.
Will see what happens.
