A friend of mine and her family have won a trip to New York and they have no idea what to go see.
I was wondering if anyone that lives in New York could give me the insiders info on what to see in only 4 days.
Empire state building, lady liberty, etc.

Not an insiders view, but we visited for 4 days a couple of years back. One thing we did was I think it was called the central line boat trip around Manhattan. This was quite a good introduction to things.
I think Ellis Island is a must see, as is the empire state building.
We also enjoyed a lot of walking, the atmospehere as you wander through different districts is as interesting as any tourist attraction IMHO.
