Game pad Suggestions

Anyone have any suggestions on what game pad to get for my PC? I've went through 2 in the last year and I'm kind of tired of buying one every 6 months.

how about using a Play station controller with your PC

I've been kicking the thought around Nitan. The only problem is I can't get one local and I need a pad tonight. I'm going to get a cheap Logitech one and hope it lasts a few months and then order the adapter for the PS2. I'm glad that they make an adapter 'cause I have a PS2 controler next to me and I don't even have a PS2. My friend needs an anger management class because he tends to get quite pi**ed at games and tends to throw the controlers at the screen. So if I want to play when I go over I have to bring my own.

as well as that link i gave you there is a way to make your own adapter that allows u to use the PS controller, i dont have the link any more but i am sure it will be on google....good luck with getting ur PS controller going...and i hope ur mate learns from stress management skills:p
