Pre-Ordered my GameCube

Well, i went and did it, i have pre-ordered a GameCube, and have also reserved an extra controller, a memory card and a few games out of which i will take two. I think i am prolly gonna go with Star Wars: Rogue Leader and Extreme G3. As for future titles i am looking forward to Star Fox Adventures, Mario, Mario Kart, as well as Perfect Dark 2 and Metroid, but we'll see. Any info/feedback would be much appreciated. I hope to pick it up on Friday the 3rd of May. Will get a review of it and any games i get up by the following sunday:)

Great choice on Star Wars: Rogue Leader, it is an excelent game.
I was not that impressed with Extreme G3 when i played it. I would recommend the new Bond as a substitute.

Well honestly I was not all that impressed with Rouge Squadron, I took it back after 2 weeks. It seemed to me just to be a rehash of the original N64 version.

hmmm, we dont have a huge choice of games here in the UK on launch. Basically i want a racing game and one other. The choices in the UK are:

Racing:

1. Burnout
2. Cel damage
3. Driven
4. Extreme G3
5. Wave Race
6. Crazy Taxi (kinda)

Others (that i would consider):

1. Star Wars
2. Sonic Adventure
3. Bloody Roar
4. Batman Vengeance
5. Tony Hawks

I really do want a racing game and i thot that Extreme G3 looked pretty cool, it seems nice and fast and the gfx and options seem well thought out,

I rented Burnout for PS2 and it rocked. :D It was hilarious watching the crash replays... But, I would say it's a renter rather than a buy title. ;)

hmmm, played burnout...a cool game for sure, but i dont see the lasting value...i think i will go with Extreme G3 as my racing title...that leaves one other to choose...hmmm...any suggestions...god i am so indecisive...the problem is none of the launch titles standout from the crowd...tho Star Wars does seem to have people going...hmm...well if i dont like either of them i can always return them and swap em, my local store allows that :)
