Sup guys,
Has anyone ever tried this? I have my raid array I run the whole system off of.. then I have another fast drive connected to back stuff up with. Is there a performance increase to be had by using a separate hard drive other than the one your op system is on for use as a page file? It would seem to me that the system could access both drives simultaneously instead of going back and forth to the page file on the op system drive. any thoughts...?

Only if the Pci Bus or the Ide bus was not saturated. Running a raid will tend to begin a saturation on bursts, and then you get no additional drive access until the bus was cleared. If you are only running 2 drives, then by all means, yes their will be a slight performance increase, but you would be better put spending your dosh on more ram, to decrease the amount of swapping necessary.
