Once, a sociology major and I were up all night discussing social theory (Marxism, capitalism, etc.) and we were very, very tired. We got onto the topic of time/time-travel somehow, and he said, with a straight face, "Time is this all-encompassing force which kicks a$$ and makes you die." You kind of had to be there, but it is still the funniest thing I've ever heard. I burst out laughing... :D
