Well, been playing with some of the options on Jedi Outcast today, and I notice a setting called Shading. It's options are Off, Simple, and Volumetric.
I am running in full 32bit color mode, and i figgured that Volumetric was the best shading function to use. So using that, I start playing the game. And good lord, is it ugly. I can see each individual polygon being different shades, nothing is smooth at all.
I use simple shading, and it seems to work fine, but I cant help but think Im missing out on some better shading. Any thoughts? Is volumetric really better, or is Simple better?
Thanks!
