Hullo,

right, i have a juno p6 full tower case (the blue jobby)

a month or so ago i took the ruber feet off it, and screwed casters to the bottom of it to make it easier moving it from my house to my good lady's house (liz)

now, when i screwed it in, the bolt was pushing against the bottom of the tray that the motherboard screws to. I didnt take much notice as i thoght the case shoudl be strong enough to take it

so back to present day. I have had a few interesting problems with my machine in the last week or so (modem cutting out, blue screens etc)

i take the side of the case off tonite to have a look and i notice that the bottom of the case is buckeled. and the tray that hold the motherboard is pushed at and some of the mouts twised. I also spotted that some of the cards are bent slightly out of shape.

all in all, not to good.

any suggestions (apart from taking the castors off)

or does anyone know a really robust case for reasnoble money???

toodles :xsofa:

Hey MrP, If you would like to keep the same case I think I have a cheap fix for you. You could reinforce the bottom of your case. I would suggest you go to home depot, or what ever you have in your area and get some pieces of metal that are the lenght of your case. I am not sure what the pieces are called but they are used in construction to reinforce roofs and such.
You will be looking for a piece of metal, retangular in shape with holes and sometimes slots cut in it.
Now if you get two of them and run them crisscross from wheel to wheel, in between the case and the castors, they should provide all the support you need.

Hey MrP, forgot to mention, the peces of metal are only about 1/8 in thick so you should not even be able to see them, hide verry nicely.
