Well, got my watercooling setup working. I'm using a MAZE2 - Mag 500 water pump (500gph) - 5 gallon bucket. The bucket is staying at room temp.= 26C. The CPU temp. is at 34C idle. I have not tested it with Prime95 yet, but will do so tomorrow. Boy, is it QUIET now, only thing I hear now is the PSU fan. Will keep everyone updated!

Nice one Johnny.....
The water WILL heat up with a few hours of use......just a question of how much/how quickly.Hope your within limits.....

Well, the water heats up quite quickly, and I'm a little disappointed in the results.
Idle temp. =41C
Case temp. =25C
Water temp.=22.5C
I can run Prime95 (torture test) for about 3 minutes before temps reach 47C. After that the computer shuts down. I will have to invest in a radiator.I was hoping I could have avoided using a radiator(looking for a super quiet system).

Sorry Bud,

Was hoping that you could get by without a radiator.

Think about the Aquacoil radiator with the 120mm fan. Pretty quiet, but works VERY well.

Take care..........

wait up johnny......after 3 minuits it is unlikely that the water heated up a great deal.....how hot was the water when the cpu was at 47?Prolly still close to room temp......sounds like the aterblock is not working great....try reseating it (your useing DECENT thermal paste....right?)....you should be able to stay within 20 higher than water temps (ie. 41 degrees cpu/21 water).Try moderating the overclocking to see what is a stable level without rad.....then think to see if its worth it (or if you just need a bigger bucket);)
What are ambient temps(room)?

theres definatly something wrong there, i don't think theres any heat being transfered to your water, my water actually got very very hot

i would take the watercooling system off and run it outside the case for a while turning it around and around to ensure there are no air bubbles, that should fix the problem

5 gallons should be safe for at least a couple of hours at full load

Well, running at 1667mhz(Core Voltage = 2.10V) the water temp started out at 70F ( sorry for not converting). After running for 2 hours, its 24.4C. The CPU temp is 41C and slowly rising. Room temps are 23.6C The thermal paste I am using is whatever AMD supplies with a new CPU. My guess is that it's not that good? Does the rate of flow thru the waterblock make a difference? Is faster better? I checked for kinks = none. I checked for proper install of the WaterBlock = correct.(inflow over core). I have the inflow tube at the bottom of the bucket.(colder water at the bottom)
dicki: heat must be transfering, as the water is heating up. With the amount of flow (500gph)I'm guessing no air could be trapped in my waterblock or lines.
