your card is the mid range TNT2 card,
it has a 64 bit interface where the better tnt2 cards run at 128 bit.
You card also is supposed to support 2x/4x.
the ram i'm not absolutely certain about but i believe it is SGRAM,
i know it's definitely not ddr. back then i think only sgram and sdram were avaliable for vid cards of that nature.
but, SGRAM would be my bet.
For your AK31,
In the bios Verify under "Advanced Chipset Features" open the AGP & P2P Bridge Control. In there you see the option "AGP Mode" You should have 3 choses to select there: 1X / 2X / 4X.
If you manage to get all this done and check your drivers info or whatever , if it still shows you that yer running 2X then try installing latest Via 4 in 1 drivers, when you do this select the turbo mode for agp.. this should set 4X mode in windows.
Hope this helps :)
Last thing.. I saw yer earlier post about drivers at nxsecure and i couldn't find anything there.. care to share a direct link or something please?
