To a higher speed? I saw some guyz who did it with their HP 4x4x24x to a 8x8x32x...
Will it work for my Plex 16x to 24x (or even 32x :D)

For HP yes, for Plextor i think not.Take a look on the botton of this <a href="http://www.cdrinfo.com/tips/hardware_oc.shtml">Page</a>
I got my HP 9100(8x) to HP9300(10x).
