i want to sell my 1998 gsxr 750 fuel injected bike
the bike has a D&D full exaust and a double bubble race wind screen.

the bike has under 600 miles <----------yup under 600:eek: , 550 miles to be exact! i have not had time to enjoy the bike since i bought her back in may of 1999 as a left over from a motorcycle dealer!
and i have decided to sell her ..but im going to get a used 2001 gsxr 750!

now my question is this ????

what should i ask for the bike ?
the bike is basicly new has been used about 8 times total has a new full D&D full exaust...
zero gravity double bubble wind screen
oil has been changed every 3 months even when not used
never has been droped!
comes with rear seat as well as single conversion cover
has flush mount sinals up front smoked
and smaller rear turn singles in the rear
mag night tanks protector
bike looks new (like it just came off the show room )

kelly blue book value is $6665 but this is for an average bike with over 10,000 miles on it and stock !

WHAT SHOULD I ASK FOR THIS BIKE I HAVE A BUYER WHO HAS CASH AND IS WILLING TO GIVE ME $7000.00

should i ask for 7,500 or more or less!

If the buyer is me, i would ask for around $20 bucks...just cause i am such a sweetheart! But if it is someone else, i would definitely be asking for atleast $7k.....considering its condition and mileage, then it seems worth more than the bluebook price(what was the retail new price?)

Well, I paid 6000 for my 99' F4 which retails a little less than yours, it had ~3000 miles on it. So your a model year down, but with less miles.... and more displacement. I would say that guy is getting a good deal... your not missing out too much either. After all, it is 2002 right now and how much more could you ACTUALLY get from someone? 7300? It may not be worth the hassle to sweat it out... your call.

I think i would put the price a little higher its easier to come down on the price than to go up.Just a suggestion tho:D
