Hi guys,
Maybe someone could help me...I got a blue screen in Win2000 (nothing unusual, you'd say) while scanning. Then I tried to reboot and the machine locked up during "verifying DMI pool data..."
I removed everything from the motherboard, including HDDs and CD-RW (only with one memory stick, video and floppy)and it seemed to start reading the boot disk when the floppy's LED went solid. I had no luck to get it working again...I believe I got a virus that corrupted the BIOS. Unfortunately I can't even flash the BIOS and get the answer 'cause I don't get to the floppy disk.
I hope someone will have a good suggestion!

System: MSI K7T Pro 2A MB, 1GHz Athlon, 640MB PC133, ATI Xpert2000Pro/4x, etc.

Thanks!

Have you tried another floppy cable and/or floppy drive? Either one of these items going bad can give you similar symptoms.
