What's it called?

need a network cable for going from pc-pc (well mac actually) not pc-hub, and about 20m long. Whats it's offical name?

other thing, is getting a pc an mac talking difficult? mate wants some stuff backed up on to CD - a LOT of stuff, so it's either a week long job with zip disks, or network the machines.

TIA.

i believe they call it a cross over cable

2 wires in an rj45 cable are swapped (can't remember which two i'm afraid have a quick search on the net)

It is a cross-over cable, If you just want to transfer files just setup a ftp server on one and a client on the other.
