Nvidia drivers : From 6.35 to 21.81

As some of you know i was using the 6.35 drivers.Yesterday i decided to try out the 21.81 to see the difference.Here are the numbers:

CPU - SVGA - DRIVERS


3D Mark 2001 Default Benchmark (1024x768,32bit)

7x135 - 220/455 - 6.35 ---> 2989
7x135 - 220/455 - 21.81 ---> 3430

QUAKE 3 High Quality

7x135 - 220/455 - 21.81 ---> 118.0 fps

QUAKE 3 All setings maxed out ,1024x768

7x135 - 220/455 - 21.81 ---> 105.9 fps




I prety much had the same fps in Quake3 with the old drivers also.Is this normal? Probably means the cpu cant give more,right?

try the 22.80 driver in WinXP/2000

I'll be installing XP one of these days so I'll try those.
Are games faster in XP than in Win98SE ?
