corsair and kingmax pc2700 are meant to be better for most people although this crucial still overclocks very very well

I just ordered some OCZ PC-3000, which a buddy of mine claims to be top notch. I'll let you know when I get it and the new PC is up and running..

While some of the higher rated stuff does get a bit higher than the crucial, it seems the crucial can normaly go higher than the others at the most aggresive settings

Doom fly : why did you buy PC-3000 DDR memory ? You dont seem to need it for your system. It wont be used well anyway!?

I fitted 512mb in 2 sticks of pc2100 CL2.5, its running at 150fsb with CL set at 2, turbo settings on a KG7-raid. Cost under £60! lovely stuff! Any faster and windows registry restore kicks in for some reason, XP1500 @1500mhz.

I agree. The performance/price ratio is still the best with Crucial.
