Tonight going to do some heavy case reconstruction. Got the hole saw, dremel and first aid kit handy.

I have 2 ea Sanyo Denki 80mm 53 CFM fans, 1 ea 40 cfm 60 mm fan and the PSU has 2 fans. I also have 2 ea 80 mm 20 cfm fans.

I was thinking of putting the 2 53 cfms 1 in front bottom blowing in and 1 in back beside CPU blowing out. Then putting the 60mm fan in a blowhole right over cpu (blowing air towards CPU fan).

What I'm worried about is I will have 93 CFM going in and approx 73 cfm going out (not sure on PSU. The fans are temp controlled).

SHould I cut another blowhole in top of case and stick an 80mm 20 cfm up there? Or cut a blowhole on side of case above the IN blowhole and stick the 80mm 20 cfm fan blowing out?

Also, should I tape all the other air entrances to case?

Also, have a Swiftech MCX462 on order.

Thanx
Jim

I would, you need more going out than comming in,it may be only a few cfm's but thats all you need,do a top stack
