Hi,
I used to own a Jota many years ago when all my friends were buying Jap........ I would love to own a Laverda Formula Mirage now :D The noise always reminded me of a jet fighter lol but that could be time playing tricks on my mind. I went on to own lots of Z1 Kawasaki's ....but we are talking of days when bikes had character :)

Hi Bigben had a 1200T as well at one time - sort of a soft tuned version before the Mirage came out. Great m/c until some scumbag nicked it ! :xcry:

Hi Chas my Jota had a hydraulic clutch, so you must be on about the early ones.

Had a ride on a Ducati Darmah ( the one with the tiger on it ?) once - lovely piece of kit.

Is the new Bonnie water cooled ?

hiya, dont know the 2nd one but my dad was big on triumph tridents, he used to restore them (loves his blackbird these days though), he was that particular on detail he had to have exact nuts, bolts etc and remember him falling out with a local parts dealer once because he wanted some rims making that where to be drilled for spokes and crome plated after, but the guy plated then drilled which allows the plate to lift with time ??? Also remember running after a football when i was about 12 slipped on my backside just before i got to his triumph and come to a stop when i hit his centre stand, as the bike wobbled he came out the garage turned red with rage and yelled his head off, i though bless him he's concerned his only son was nearlly squashed by his bike ........ NO just major annoyed i'd nearly trashed his beloved trident :) Also remember a time when he gave me a lift to school on it and went tits at me cos one of my feet had come of the foot peg and my shoe had melted on his exhaust .... took him hours to clean it ... not a happy chappy then :) but loves his tridents :)

Greetings KMS

I used to run a T150V, had it for 2 1/2 years, it was a very reliable mc . Used to get my parts from a chap called Les Williams who ran a specialised Triumph business near me, (he was the guy who built the Slippery Sam - which I`m sure your Dads mentioned )
