Hi all

Well, after two weeks of my new MSI645 Ultra board and 100 BSODs later it's time to say goodbye to SiS. It's a shame as the board was a great performer, but the SiS645 chipset seems to have a unstable AGP slot.

Just installed a QDI Platinix 2D, using the new i845D DDR chipset, and all seems stable again. So far pushed to 1.92GHz and gonna test before going higher.

Fingers crossed.

what temps does the p4 run at those speeds? and what kind of voltage mods do you need to perform

Hiya

I must admit, not sure on the temps, but not that hot :)

Only needed to go 0.1V over default (which the motherboard allows in the BIOS)......got to 1.97GHz TOTALLY stable, but I think thats all she is going to do. Not bad for a 1.6 chip. I have built up four systems now all clocking to this same level ,I think the 1.6 P4 and this board are a reliable combination.
