I just got (For Free) a MSI KT7 Turbo2 MB, during boot up, after it does a memory check and find all the drives ,the very next screen has a flashing cursor in the top left hand corner, and never goes any further.
Would anyone know what is going on, I don't.
Thanks

welcome to the board :xwavey:
good question.....
i'll suggest all the obvious things first... try reseating everything give all the cards and memory a wiggle and make sure it's all pushed down.
clear the bios (unplug all power and short the pins for about 20 minutes to ensure it's fully cleared)
listen for any beeps... if there are any see what they mean in the manual or on the msi website
ummm....thats about all i can think of at the moment...

Hi Gatlin. What is the rating of your power supply? If it is from an older system it may not be up to the task.

Well everything seems to be pluged in and, in the right place. I set the driveds to boot up in the BIOS in every order I could think of, reset the jumper to clear the BIOS, still nothing.
It is a 300w power supply.
I guess the problem is that it just won't boot-up from any device, HD CD ROM or Floppy.

Thanks for the help. I have had no luck yet, so I am taking it to the computer mechanic. He told me he just got a new hammer for Christmas and needs to try it out.
