just booted my comp and the one of my disk spinning up a "tic" and again spinning up " tic" and .....

so i guess my second ibm 30 Gb gxp is going down :-(
or it could be my old and trusty WD ( 4 years old now i geuss :- (

For your Western Digital take a <a href="http://www.westerndigital.com/support/download/index.asp">DataLifeGuard v2.8 from Wester Digital</a> It works in the same way that IBM softare above.

jep i did some fast backups yesterday will do the rest today

but sadly i lost all my data earlier this year when the first of my ibm's wend down a couple months ago (they where in raid -0 )
