Trying with a friend to connect hed to head online...
If I start a game he can't join...
If he hosts we both get in, But the game won't start ("waiting for players").We are both useing windows XP.....and he says that he can't host games on LAN either with since he changed to XP......is there a compat prob?Ar we overlooking somethin stupid?

this is a shot in the dark here,have you tried to set it up with two bots only and as you come in the go?

Thanks for the advice Pistol...
I tried that, and tried only having minimum players on 1.
followed all advice for multiplayer hosting at unrealtournament.com but to no avail. Google does not shed much light on this one.
I think it must be something to do with network config - OS wise - not UT wise.... Funny thing is this computer would host fine when it was running win98....
Will try putting ut on Win2k server(!) on the other partition and see if this does any better...

I have a feeling we can play if I install UT on win2k server...
