hello...
Well, there have been a few 1st person shooters that i can recommend, depending on what type you are looking for. If you are looking for a more 'shoot to kill! die die die!', i guess i would recommend Return To Castle Wolfeinstien. Why would i recommend this game? Basically for its graphics and multiplayer options. I am not going to recommend this game, however, based on its single player plot. I considered it to be a bit weak, and if it wasnt for the fabulous graphics, i would have never made it to the end. Nothing new here other than graphics and multiplayer(which is amazing a bit fun...mixture of UT and CS...but i enjoy CS tons more).
Another game i would recommend if you are looking for more of a strategic first person shooter is RainBow Six: Ghost Recon. I enjoyed this game, but not enough to get me threw all the missions(hey, had to move on to a different game.....hehe..and show some attention to my girlfriend..hehe). I enjoyed this game a lot more than Rogue Spear, and the graphics are definitely top notch(if you have a newer graphics card...i had everything maxed and had no problems). Don't get me wrong, the graphics are not Wolfienstien material, but it does offer a bit more plot-wise in the single player mode(didnt play multiplayer mode).
BUT if i had to recommend a first person shooter game with 100% confidence, i would tell you to wait till January 22nd. That is when Medal of Honor: Allied Assult comes out. This game is going to be something special i think. From watching the preview movies, to reading about it, it is going to have what we all want in regards to a decent plot and wonderful graphics. Also, the multiplayer, from waht i have heard, is going to be very good and offer different modes. This game is definitely going to be worth the wait......
Hope this helps....I am currently working on Final Fantasy X and havnt been on CS for a about a week now. But, as always, will be heading right back there.....

I would say Deux Ex. You have the option of playing single player as "run and gun" (thought it will be hard) or you can make it through alot of levels without even killing anyone. The plot is good though does go overboard in the consiracy vein. Think X-files on speed. Aliens, cloning, bio engineered plagues, FEMA, Majestic-12, NATO, Illuminati and any other conspiracy group/plot device you can think of is tossed in. Add 3 different endings, a slew of places in the game where the characters will respond to you differently depending on how you have played the game up to that point and all the different aug and skill combinations and you will be playing the game for quite some time. Multiplayer Deus is a completely different experience than any other MP game out there. Every weapon has an nano-augmentation counter and the augs can be countered themself. You recieve skill points for upgrading you abilities and new augs when you kill someone. You can customize your augs and skill development to suit your style of play.

Hey Guys thanks for all the suggestions. I have dues ex, don't like it to much and as far as the rainbow 6 games I have the original and the add on pack that came next, I never go to much inot it, to much controling to do, I prefer a cs type kill them game :) .I will wait for the 22nd and buy Medal of Honor:Allied Assault because you recommended it Baps, If it's not 100% kick @$$ I want my money back from you BAPS !!! :D

hahah.....
ill definitely keep you updated in regards to Medal of Honor, and if something sounds sour about it, youll be the first to know. Yea, the new Ghost Recon is definitely more 'Counterstrikish' then the other rainbow six's. In this one, you dont have to pre-set everyones moves before hand...you can do them on the fly, and it is more 'arcade oriented'. Definitely a bit more fast-paced then the previous ones, but still not extremely action-packed as cs,rtcw(wolfienstien),etc.
Hey Therion, Actually my voltage mod fell off....hehe. I was up to around 1.3gigs with it though. When i switched out my geforce3 for the radeon8500, the mod fell off....sigh, musta not been on there very good. :( :( :(
