Yo Tiff,
This deal looks good except I am leary about dealing with companies that don't have a phone number. I also don't know what their return policy is. Their website is really lacking in details too. For example I want to get a cpu too but they don't tell you if they are "OEM" or "Retail".
Have you had any contact with them? Are they for real? They haven't responded to my email yet either.

I called the sitez phone number & they told me their return policy is if you get it DOA they will take it back as long as it is not physically damaged. Tiffany is my real name & if you think the names pretty you need to see the person attached.

Did you get the PC3000 or PC2700 ram (after they corrected their ad)?
I got their sales policy by email finally and it does not address my most basic question on returns. It is a diatribe about what you see on their website might not be what they sell you. I'd post the email but I don't want to waste the space. If anyone wants it I'll forward it to you.

PC-3000 & as to what ad you mean needed to be corrected I'm not sure. The link I posted at the beginning of the other thread I started still works & you can still buy the deal I got, plus PC-3000 came down to $80, no good for me as I already have it & the board but good for NEone who wants it.

I just went to www.abilitywholesale.com then to MOtherboards then AMD & I see the IWILL XP333 Raid rev 2.1 with PC-3000 RAM for 189.99, I guess the deal I got was a print mistake, but that's still reasonable when the IWILL Raid is 116 & the RAM is 80.

Well I finally dove in and went for the Ability deal. I did a lot of research and there are problems with any given MB. The only negative with the IWILL is the PCI clock multipliers slow down the ram at 1/5. I hope, as do others, that it is a bios fix and not an inherent chipset hardware issue that can't be fixed.
I ordered a retail xp1600 from Monarch and a relatively quiet 6027 Vantec fan ( I hate noise) from NewEgg. It really is a shame that you can't find all the cheapest prices in one place.
Prices as follows:
XP 1600 retail $126
IWILL XP333 Raid + DDR 3000 $190
Vantec CCK-6027D $20
Grand total with shipping $375 OUCH but it should last awhile.
and...
Please don't tell if this or that suks because it won't matter at this point, ha ha.
