Time Zones,, pure philosophy

i think that i need some input on this subject...

about how if i do something here,, its a different time there... so if we both started something at the "same" time,, would it be the same time?
kinda confusing sorry,
let me know if you understand it. lol

Not sure what type of info you need. You cant have a world time because when it's night in one place it's day in another. Who is to say what time zone is the "right" one. I know that in my job we keep track not only of the time zone e are in but also of GMT. Like when we launch some tomahawks and want to time them with other ship's tomahawks to get a same TOT we use GMT as a set zone.

well, why cant we just have it where 10 am here is light, and 10 am there is dark? then they sleep when we are awake, and we are asleep when they are awake.

I've had similar thoughts before. Why not have a single world time? The only issue would be people waking and sleeping at a different numerical time than currently. Do we really need "midday" to be 12:00?

On a similar note, I would like to see more flex time for working. It sucks when everyone has to start at exactly the same time, so the roads are all blocked at once. Ok, for some industries you need everyone at the same time, but for more office type work I think there is more room for flexability than is currently around.
