I am confused you have already done a volt mod but you wanna lower your voltage?? Y not just remove the volt mod?

the problem is my +5v line is to low (4.73v stressed on 2.11 vcore)
i want to lower it to 2.05 or 2.1v
on 1.85v it was 4.95v, now my pc is unstable on higher speeds then 1826 mhz.
the psu is an enermax 350 watt.

maybe this could help to speed up my +5v :)

when you did the volt mod did you use a fixed value resistor or a Variable resistor. If you used a fixed value change it to a variable and you will be able to actually change they VCore by dialing different values into the resistor.

uh oh.. this brings to mind the ol epox 8k7a and enermax probs, where those psu's were not able to keep a good 5v rail.

i had an enermax 431w psu on my epox and it could not keep a good 5v rail. so i had to swap to a diff psu. using an ol sparkle 300w i had, i was able to trim the pot inside the psu and get a good 5v rail.

not sure if the 8kha line also has the probs with the enermax, but it was a long studied issue with the 8k7a's
