hey, i was also wondering where you could get DFLW skins and weapons. And i already know about operation flashpiont.

The game wasnt popular enough to merit skins and new weapons. Face the facts, not EVERY first person shooter gets new skins and weapons, just the ones that get the most gameplay and the most hype. And more importantly, one that is based off a good/friendly engine.
the engine to this game is horrible, hence it is almost impossible to integrate new weapons and skins into the mix.

What type of computer specs do you have, maybe i can recommend something that will be a bit more satisfying. Have you ever played CounterStrike. I know you guys are interested in online gaming, plus new skins and weapons...this game might be the cream of the crop for you guys!

i didn't like counterstrike as much as i like DFLW. one of my friends at school likes it alot. i don't as much. it dosn't have very good grafics. again it might be the comp. i like the snipering games better


my comp. specs= 1.2mhz AMD Duron or Athalon, 12.6 gigs, 2.6 megs of ram. ATi xpert 128 or something like that. Aopen CD rewriter, Samsung DVD, and somemore stuff

Not too bad of specs i suppose. Double check how much ram you have......i am guessing you have like 128mb or 256mb(or possibly 64mb..but definitey not 2.6megs :) ).
CounterStrike does have sniping.....offering a variety of 3 sniping rifle models. Not really in the mood to do another graphical comparision between DeltaForce and another game....but i am a bit shocked that deltaforce looked better graphically then CS. Something is a-miss! maybe you do have 2.6megs or ram! j/k

In an attempt to prove myself wrong, i have succeeded. I have found 'some' skins and weapons for DFLW. As i suspected though, the quality is quiet poor(much to the stardard graphics of DFLW). Keep in mind, that with the skin mods, you cannot connect to anyones server. It is considered cheating(dont ask me why or how) and servers will automatically ban you when you try to connect with personal skins.

hey, i guess ill have to side with you on the graphics thing. sorry. i played OFP on a video card not very good and i always play DFLW on an EXCELLENT video card. that probably made the difference. i was just on a "i love DFLW" rage i guess.:( hehe
so, this is a pretty long thread for one simple question eh? lol its kinda funny lookin on the forum opening. lol :rolleyes:

Definitely check out that forum though if you are still interested in DFLW. Another thing about Operation FlashPoint. I enjoyed the game, but it didnt make me **** my pants in joy(thats usually how i know a game is GREAT!! lol jk). I just made the comparision basically because i feel that operationflashpoint is a better game than DFLW in all categories: graphics, sound, gameplay, fun.

cs to me dosn't have the long ranges like DFLW does. my best shot in DFLW is like 1300meters thourgh a wall. in cs it dosn't have the huge landscapes which to me is a nesscity. i can't spell so bear with me.
