personally i think that rainbow six kinda sucked. o well, i think that operation flashpoint doesnt have quite as good graphics as DFLW, ive played it, not quite as impressed as, DFLW. owell

I don't think DFLW is the sorta game that you can mod like that. Or rather, that anyone would bother to. It wasn't that popular ...even though it was better than the first two.

sorry, but i thought that DFLW was pretty popular, considering there are still over 3000 people on constantly the Novaworld Network still today. i suppose you could consider that my evidence that it is still a great game, and will be hard to surpass. i guess its just an opinion thing.

DFLW is NOT a great game...and is based on a horrible engine. It is definitely better than the 2nd one, but not the first(considering when it came out, and how it kinda set a standard of sorts).
DFLW is very easily surpassable. In fact, there are probably 10 different options currently that easily surpass it. And if you want to get into the discussion about popularity....rainbow six: rogue spear outsold DFLW by 6 fold.
Truthfully, i am not defending either, but i think you should open your eyes just a bit and stop being so 'protective' of a mediocre game.

Yea, i think your right....Operation Flashpoint's graphics suck in comparision to Land Warrior...lol.....

What are your computer specs...that might be a possible reason as to why you are getting such poor graphical results. Also, the Ghost Recon is a bit different then the previous installments(you no longer have to preset your player movements...seems as though you dont like the tactical games very much.......and your preference seems to fall under first person shooter, which 'return to castle wolfienstien' should wet your wistle....)

hey,,, im sorry, you proved my butt off. good point baptizer... i didnt play OFP on my comp, so i wasnt guaranteed the good graphics... my card is a 32 mg radeon so im pretty sure, ill get the best. i havent played OFP onmine, so i dont know the full extent of graphics for it. sorry. i still dont like the actual gameplay of it. sorry, o well. if OFP had a game server (does it?) then id like it a lot more. o well, thx for "opening my eyes" (no sarcasm intended)

if you like delta, thats wonderful. I just want you to get the most out of all the games, and dont want you to limit yourself to delta. I think you would enjoy other games even more....
But play delta to death first, then move on........didnt mean to try to prove anything...just wanted to make sure you knew there were a lot better games out there.....

I kinda liked DFLW !!!
As did a couple of my lan playing buddies, it made for a good CTF - nothing beats REAL sniper ranges. The Rainbow 6 stuff is just to heavy for me, DFLW was perhaps a little easy but it was fun whilst it lasted.

Delta force MAY not be the best game in terms of graphics... But in terms of game play it is one of the best... I have played OPFP and did not like it to much!!!! same with rogue spear!!! The thing that I love about DFLW is the on-line gaming!!! Novaworld is awesome, YOu can enter any game at anytime, and getting in is fast, you dont sit there waiting and waiting and waiting!!! like with most online games!!!:)

Delta force may have set a standard for GAMEPLAY back in the day, but DFLW surely did not. The gameplay is average at best! I am not exactly sure which online games you play, but games such as counterstrike, rtcw, etc are fairly easy/quick to get into.
I can understand why some people do not like the Rainbow Six series because of its complexity. And personally i didn't go ape-sh-t about Operation Flashpoint. But one thing is for sure, they definitely are overall better games than DFLW. But obviously this is just my opinion........I am not sure if you guys are just DF trolls or what...hehe...

i remember a game i really liked. it was this star trek game that was really quite hard. you would fly around in circles trying to shoot ferengi's and kling-ons (hehehe). **sigh** i miss WORF!!!!!!!

actually bap, i just got a pack of 600 nes games, and they almost all work,,,(biones is my emulator) but ya, they are emulators (roms actually) but you know what i mean,,, what was the name of that o so great game that you like?

Yea, those games are definitely more of a 'taste' game....similar along the lines of the old PC game's KINGS QUEST. Hmm...BIONIC COMMANDO, KID ICARIUS, METRIOD, KARNOV, RYGAR are more of the typical classics that i truely enjoy(these are more main-stream and i am sure you heard of most of them).
